Leave stereotypes about different Ukrainians. Travel around Ukraine and meet people from all over the country. When, if not during joint work, will you be able to get to know the person best? The interaction of Ukrainians as one big cool team – it`s BUR.
We teach how to use the acquired knowledge, provide you with the support of a like-minded community, and give opportunities not only to study but to implement your boldest ideas as well. To be able means to act and make your dreams come true. It is BUR.
BUR arose in 2014 as a volunteer measure of Ukrainian educational platrorm for rebuilding homes destroyed by the war in the East of Ukraine.
The spirit of good neighborliness and unity, which organizers felt at that time served gave start to biggest volunteer organization in Ukraine.
In collaboration with UA Comix we created and published a comix about the “Build Ukraine Together” platform , which was based on a real life events in Kramatorsk.
The “Build Ukraine Together” became an independent public organization.
Thanks to 2626 volunteers BUR has created comfortable living conditions for more than 5000 people from communities that have suffered from the war. We supported 9 long-term volunteers, who worked with local youth in small communities in Ukraine.
Together with the Prometeus tean BUR has started an online project management course, which was taken by more than 1000 participants/students [вибирайте яке вам більше подобається).
In 2015 BUR started it’s activity in the regions thus uniting the active yougth in Ukainian cities . That is how the local activities, the BURchiks came to be. Together with BUR they organized 1-2 day events of mutual aid and good neighborliness
As of 2022 the teams of local centers will count 58 members.
